South Park, Whassup, and Elian
Well, you'll be hearing about this everywhere:
How in the world did they reanimate last night's South Park episode so quickly to reference "the taking of Elian"?
The animators were able to rework the Wednesday night episode in 2-3 days to include everything from the now-famous "Closet Photo" to Janet Reno. (The promo for the episode implies a different story alltogether.) Kudos to the animators - I'm sure they went through several all-nighters for that one.
Speaking of Elian, they've already worked him into everyone's favorite ad campaign/parody.

Lettershlocking?
I remember running across this guy a year or two ago. He thinks letterboxing is evil and a form of censorship. (Worse still, he pushed the now very dead Divx DVD format.)
I remember exchanging a few emails with him back then - when he found out I worked in the film industry, he got a bit... um... angry.
That's the wonder of the Internet, coming into contact with those who have "different" viewpoints. [cough]

Search
Tweaking the blog... Hopefully all of you are seeing the fonts at the correct size, regards what system/browser you are using... (However, IE 5.0 still renders the CSS/layout correctly, Netscape does not.)
More importantly, I'm testing a new SEARCH function on the left menu. Use it at will and let me know if there are any problems.
