So today, at work, the Internet connection went down. Little did we know, we were shut off permanently because of NorthPoint going under last week. Our ISP, XO Communications didn't bother to warn us of this. (I'd never heard of NorthPoint until today - they were the unseen DSL wholesaler behind our ISP). So we're offline for 30-60 days until we can get switched over to another DSL provider.
Major bummer for a graphic design firm that depends on the Net as part of it's business. Course, if a rolling blackout hits, it won't matter that particular day. (Thank goodness I still have DSL access at home.)
