Looks like we'll be going to the movies for a trailer this weekend. Luckily, Monsters Inc. should be worth seeing. I remember going to see The Waterboy for the Episode I trailer. Everyone left after the trailer, before the movie started. I should have too.

They're re-releasing E.T. as a Special Edition in theatres in March of 2002. It's getting the full treatment: new digital effects, new footage, remastered soundtrack, and digitally enhanced political correctness. Huh?

I miss my photography days back at Auburn. The extent of my photography since then has mostly been shooting coworkers standing in for body parts of famous actors for movie poster designs. Anyway, I ran across a photography themed weblog, PixelPile.org, which is definately worth a look.

Well, it's not the wireless ethernet home stereo component MP3 server everyone thought it'd be, but Apple annouced the iPod today. A bit pricey, but an impressive player (that's Mac compatible for a change) that doubles as an external 5GB Firewire drive.

Well, it seems groksoup.com has finally died. (The server wasn't responding, last time I checked. I think their domain record expired. Someone should go renew it. :) It's been very hit or miss with groksoup (as a weblog host/program) - I've been too lazy to switch up until now.

Now I've been forced to switch. I don't like Blogger's formatting, and have trouble using their tags... So I decided to go with installing Greymatter weblog software on my other site's server, rather than depending on someone else. (Well, at least I'll know who to complain to when the site goes down.) Anyway, I haven't had time to configure Greymatter completely - it's almost too flexible.

The real problem is that I can't import all of my old entries (some of which have been lost) into the new software, so I'll have to see when/if I can create archives of all the old material... Oh, and comments don't seem to be formatting properly. Damn you CSS!
