This past Sunday's Dilbert comic strip about graphic design in the workplace made me chuckle. The "Anyone Can Design!" mentality is all to common, especially among MBAs and other non-creatives. I have had this particular kind of Dilbert Sunday "funny" scene replay in my design career far too many times - although I wasn't laughing much about it at the time.
I find that this also is a thing with the marketing department when it comes to technology. Then think they understand and can design software when, in reality, they have no bloody clue.
