Isn't Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson a bit old to be getting into a New Year's Eve drunken brawl with police and thrown in jail? Perhaps he's trying to improve the band's (and Canada in general) image? :) Regardless, he is certainly one of the last musician's you'd expect exhibiting this kind of behavior - although the police side of the story tends to get out first, so we'll have to wait to hear his version.
ya know, I seem to remember the 'boy' being born around the time of Hemispheres. I'm a bit older than most modern Rush fans (most Rush fans my age dumped these guys in the mid 80s and I must admit, I don't pay much attention to them myself these days) and I seem to remember the 'boy' being born around 78 or so. And if the 'boy' is 33, then that means Lifeson was 17 and Charlene was 16???? No,but it doesn't matter. I read where the 'boy' told the media that that if the charges weren't dropped, they would file lawsuits. HEY ALEX...TELL YOUR 'BOY' TO SHUT UP! They should all keep quiet and say nothing, plead no contest, pay restitution, and get outta my state for awhile. Maybe that way, instead of hanging out in bars, regardless of how fancy, Alex can try, I say TRY, to rekindle the incredible musical ability this guitar giant once had. Alex...this ain't California bro...this is the deep south. You need to cut back on the sauce a bit and when a cop tells you to do something....you better do it. Your rock star status doesn't mean a thing here.
