Michelle and I got a brief mention in the Thursday NY Times. We were interviewed by one of their columnists (Pamela O'Connell) about our website: Adtunes.com. For those of you who don't know, Adtunes.com is a weblog and forum devoted to finding out what songs and music are used in TV commercials, movie trailers, soundtracks, and more. It's pretty exciting to be mentioned in the NY Times (both in print and web). We hope this helps the site continue to grow and evolve.

It was nice to see The Office blow out the US competition and pick up two Golden Globe awards last night. Ricky Gervais certainly deserves all the credit and awards for the success of that show. Unfortunately, Gervais will not be involved with the American version of The Office on NBC, which will follow in the wake of the collossal failure of the last British TV comedy remake here in the US - the awful and quickly cancelled "Coupling".

Isn't Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson a bit old to be getting into a New Year's Eve drunken brawl with police and thrown in jail? Perhaps he's trying to improve the band's (and Canada in general) image? :) Regardless, he is certainly one of the last musician's you'd expect exhibiting this kind of behavior - although the police side of the story tends to get out first, so we'll have to wait to hear his version.
