Today marks 365 days until the release of STAR WARS: EPISODE III to theatres. Speaking of Star Wars releases, the original STAR WARS trilogy is due to be released on DVD on September 21st. Hey, do you remember the scene at the end of RETURN OF THE JEDI with Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi, when Hayden Christensen fades in as the ghost of Anakin Skywalker? What, you don't remember that?
As reported by various sources, that's just one of the many new changes George Lucas has made to the "not-so-original anymore" STAR WARS trilogy. Not satisifed with the tinkering in the Special Editions of A NEW HOPE, THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, and RETURN OF THE JEDI several years ago, Lucas has filmed new elements and changes for the beloved trilogy. Granted, as creator, he has the right to do that, but based on his track record ("Greedo Shoots First!"), this can't be a good thing.
