By now most of you have probably seen the trailer of the upcoming film The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the long awaited film adaptation of the Douglas Adams classic sci-fi comedy novel. What you may not have seen is the so-called exclusive internet only trailer for the film, which is far superior to the previous spots. Kudos to the ad agency that cut the trailer -- it manages to be both entertaining and an accurate synopsis of standard movie trailer conventions, format, and clichés. It's unfortunate that this "internet only" film trailer probably won't be seen in theatres and reach a wider audience. Perhaps it will be included as an extra on the eventual DVD release.
