My favorite film during my college years, this Oscar winning epic made Kevin Costner a superstar. (Costner? A superstar. That seems so long ago now.) The story of a Civil War soldier (alone at an outpost) embracing the culture of his Native American neighbors is a must-see. John Barry's score adds a lot of weight.

The year 1976 comes out of the haze and onto the screen in this Richard Linklater directed classic. Another example of early 90s indie films at their best. Look for a scary side-burned Ben Affleck and scene stealing performance from Matthew McConaughey.

Have you ever been driving and said something to the effect of "Look, there's an old person with a walker, they'd be worth 30 points if I hit them." That concept originated with the cult film DEATH RACE 2000. Plus you get the pleasure of Sylvester Stallone really chewing his way through scenes.

Looking for DIE HARD, DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER, and DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE all in one convenient package? This is the DVD set for you. Surprisingly thorough - you'll learn more about the two lesser sequels than you'd probably like - but once again, the first film is worth the price of admission.

Kevin Smith moves aways from the convenience store and the mall to tackle Catholicism - with varying degrees of success. It's hard to fault anything featuring Jay and Silent Bob, but some of the "dogma" spouted in the dialog leaves a bit to be desired. Still a good source of laughs, however.
