Spectacular debut film from filmmaker Quentin Tarantino. The unconventional story structure of this "heist film" is really just an extended character study. Taking the idea of "honor among thieves" and peppering it with dialog and conversations not seen in mainstream Hollywood films before.

Or better known as MAD MAX 2. Sequel tops the original in every way, and sets a benchmark of the post-apocalyptic future (where gas is the only thing that matters) in terms in production design. Mel Gibson is in rare form here before he hit it really big. Spawned an absolutely dreadful third film.

Ultra violent nihilistic science fiction film has style and satire to spare, and was a much-needed jolt to the stale science fiction drama. One of the best sci-fi films when you first see it, but loses something with each viewing. A very low "re-watchable" factor.

Pointless and loud action film gets by with a lot of stylish action, and the presence of Connery and Cage in the lead roles. More value testing a home theatre audio system than anything else. Also, you'll get an eerie foretelling of director Michael Bay's egocentric crappiness when you hear his DVD commentary.

Don't bother watching this film for the first time on DVD and/or without a large group of people around you - it won't be the same experience you "virigin"! The definitive cult film is a rock and roll fantasy comic opera of epic proportions - how many other films have you seen about a sweet transvestite from Transexual, Transylvania?

Progressive rock's most enduring "power trio" is showcased in this DVD covering music videos throughout their 30 year or better history. Not a complete collection of videos, but still a worthy addition to any Rush fan's DVD library. (Look for hidden by selecting the "Rush Chronicles" logo on the "Play Videos" menu.)

Much welcomed concert DVD from the progressive rock trio Rush. The disc features their first ever concert in Brazil. More importantly, a rare look behind the scenes of the band is offered via a documentary film. There are also interesting hidden DVD easter eggs.
