BLAZING SADDLES may have been more popular, but YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN remains as Mel Brook's greatest film comedy. One aspect that makes it so enjoyable is it embraces the black and white photography, sets, and other earmarks of the classic horror genre. Within this loving retro backdrop is some of the most wicked comedy you'll ever see.
